HALLOWEEN:

Halloween, which is also known as All Hallow´s Eve, is a celebration dedicated to remember the deads too. This party is typical from America, but nowadays it is celebrated by people all over the world.

In this outdoor festival,  people have to put on scary costumes because they want to frighten their friends or strangers. Typical costumes are ghosts, zombies, witches, vampires, wolf mens, Draculas, etc… 

On the other hand, we can dress up with costumes which aren’t scary for example famous characters from movies or series, like Superman, Harley Queen, the Joker… One of the most important characteristics is the decoration of the house with pumpkins, nets or bats. Children usually knock the door of neighbors to do trick or treat.

From my point of view, Halloween is an interesting and amazing party where you can have fun with your friends or your family, and remember dead people who have been important for you.

Nowadays, there has been an increase of the use of technologies but this term can have different points of view, for example, there could be a misuse of technologies. There are some people that call this “phubbing”.

In our opinion the worst use of technologies is in bars or with friends, because if you are always with the mobile phone you won´t socialize with your friends or family. This is very annoying for the people that are with you, and it could be an impolite behavior. On the other hand, we can use phones when there is an emergency, for example, if you have to call the ambulance.

In conclusion, we think that the increase of technologies and its use is good for us, but we also think that we should use them in cases of emergency or when we are alone.

Nowadays people overuse the technology, in this case (we speak about) "phubbing" that means a bad use of the technology while you should be talking with your friends or the family.

In my opinion, people should not use the mobile phone when they are in company, because it is an impolite behavior. Also phubbing affects your culture, friendships

On the other hand we can use phones when there is an emergency, for example if you have to call the ambulance.

During school or University, some students travel to an English speaking country to study English abroad. This is a good opportunity to learn English at the same time that you have a lot of fun. After some time abroad, you will notice that your level of English becomes better very fast. After I went to Ireland the last summer, my level of English was better than before I went!

 It is important to speak English. You need at least a basic level of English to be able to communicate with other people when you are not in Spain. When you travel to other countries, not only in England, you can use basic English to speak and they will understand you! In the future, if I want to find a job, it is better if I can show that you can speak English so you will have more possibilities to get the job! Because of this, I am studying English outside the school too.  I speak about English because is the most tipical lenguague that the people study abroad, but you can improve a lots of lenguagues.

Studying abroad and travelling are great options to improve your level of English or another lenguagues. Although it is not easy to be away from home for everyone, it is good to try. I can tell you it is an incredible experience!

Hi my name is Blas. I am spanish and I live in churriana, Malaga. I am 16 years old and now I’m studying  the bachillerato  (high school) in Esclavas school. My hobbies are football and padel  I practice this with my friends but never in a club. I have two sisters, their names are Lidia and Rosalia what’s more I have one brother and his name is Gonzalo finally my parents are called Rosalia and Gonzalo. In my free time I usually like listen music, play the computer game and chatting with my friend. In the weekend normally I go to the center city or go to the party with a lot of people also I study a lot.

Luis Hallamaa Carmona

We are going to describe Luis Hallamaa, a close friend of us. He was in our class for ten years, so we think of him like a brother.

He is 16 years old and he is from Malaga, Spain, but his parents are italians. He's not fat but he isn't slim either. About his hair, it's dark, curly and for our opinion, it's too long. His eyes are so big and brown, and the eye-lashes are the most special thing of him. They make his face so cute and it's the first thing that you notice about Luis. He loves padel, so he has an athletic body. He is tall, but not too much. Yes, all of that it's so good, but we haven't words to describe, the excellent brain that he has. We think, Luis is the most intelligent person in Malaga.

At first, when you meet with Luis, he isn't seem very friendly, Luis is a critical person, and he tells you all that he thinks, although you may not like it. But it's important to spend time with him, because when you know the way he is, it's easy to fall in love with him. We get on well with him, We can always count on Luis.

To sum up, Luis is one of the best friends that we have. Although, he isn't in our school this year, we won't forgent him. We will always love him.
